While I have a day job, my true passion has become capturing life’s precious moments on camera.   A few years ago, after having my son, I decided I needed a new hobby and chose to pick up a camera and see what I could do with it. 

Since then, I have invested a lot of time, effort, and education into bettering my craft and finding creative and fun ways to put the pause button on life for some pretty special people. I am a member of the Professional Photographers Of New York State.  I enjoy traveling near and far to attend hands on seminars as well as online education.  I recently had the pleasure to attend Focus NY where I not only learned from some of the best nationally known photographers but also was able to meet them on a personal level.

I am a firm believer in the power of printed photos because they help to share our stories and provide a glimpse of our lives and the past.  They bring us back to a specific time and era and can conjure up stories and memories for years to come.  Our lives pass us by so quickly, so we need to provide our children and our grandchildren with something they can relate to.  Prints are not just for us or our walls!  The physical touch of print puts something tangible in our hands and hearts and helps our brains to remember special times. 

I am looking forward to what this photography journey will bring for me and to relishing the chance to provide people with a return ticket to a moment that would otherwise be lost forever.
